Former cruise ship percussionist turned full-time conch-shell enthusiast; Jason holds down the beat like a storm anchor as part of the live music crew. With a collection of Hawaiian shirts that would make Magnum P.I. jealous, he brings that essential “cruise ship sophistication” to YachtSea. His drum kit includes four toms, a snare, and one suspiciously large coconut. On the right night, you might even catch him playing smooth tunes with either flamingo feathers or those little umbrellas that you find in tropical cocktails, alongside other YachtSea band members!
It is rumored that Ed’s favorite bass guitar was made from pieces of the ill-fated S.S. Minnow. Known for wearing linen pants year-round and never socks (not even at weddings), Ed, a key member of the live music crew, provides the funk and occasionally disappears mid-set to 'check on the anchor,' which must be an old United States Marines code for something none of us have had the stomach to ask about. Meanwhile, the YachtSea band members keep the vibe alive with their smooth tunes.

Dan grew up shredding surfboards and guitar solos in equal measure, a true member of the live music crew. He once considered legally changing his name to 'Tiki Tony,' believing his birth name didn’t have enough 'nautical heat.' Every solo Dan plays sounds like it was written during a midnight sail past a lighthouse, with smooth tunes that transport you to the sea. Rumor has it that one night, while strumming an acoustic guitar on the shores of Cocoa Beach, Dan encountered the ghost of Blackbeard, who handed him a Pina Colada and danced away, saying, 'Now, that’s smooth!' It’s no wonder he fits right in with the YachtSea band members.

Once voted “Most Likely to Serenade a Dolphin” in high school, Greg croons like the ocean breeze and dresses like a Tommy Bahama catalog exploded. After getting kicked out of a Jimmy Buffett tribute band for being “too sultry,” he joined the YachtSea band members to chase his true dream: singing smooth tunes to people wearing oversized sunglasses on the lido deck. And yes, anywhere the live music crew of YachtSea plays is considered a lido deck by Greg.

Lisa joined the YachtSea band members after mistaking an open mic night on a docked booze cruise for a Kenny Loggins back-up band audition. With a voice smoother than a melted piña colada and a stage presence that could hypnotize the Kraken, she brings balance to the live music crew—both musically and when the boys have had too many daiquiris. Fun fact: After landing a gig with Hall and Oates in 1988, both John and Daryl wanted Lisa to be on their side of the stage. This led to an ongoing feud and the eventual break-up of the duo in 2019.
David was discovered playing a baby grand piano in the Atlantis resort lobby in the Bahamas, where guests kept mistaking his smooth tunes for the sounds of the resort dolphins. He once spent an entire show trying to convince the audience that the keytar is the 'sexiest instrument ever created.' Known for his engaging performances, David often collaborates with the live music crew and is recognized for sneaking steel-drum settings into ballads, holding eye contact for way too long during solos, and carrying a laminated chart of all Jimmy Buffett’s margarita recipes in his gig bag, much to the amusement of YachtSea band members.

Bosco is more than just a good boy—he’s the smoothest sea dog on deck. With ears that perk up at the sound of smooth tunes and a tail that wags in perfect rhythm, Bosco is YachtSea’s biggest fan and unofficial mascot. Whether he’s lounging side-stage with the live music crew or cruising to the mellow sounds of yacht rock classics, he embodies the spirit of the YachtSea band members.
